CA socal turbo hatch eg b16a
for sale...93 civic hatchback, clean title. this is my baby and has been treated like a princess since i got her. the motor and turbo has approximately 5000 miles on it, almost all those miles are freeway miles. the car was never tracked or raced. about 160k on chassis.
motor:
B16a stock cylindar walls built by ace automotive in riverside
balanced, crank shaved and micro polished, je 10.0:1 forged pistons, eagle h beam rods, all new rod and crank bearings, kms valve springs and retainers, skunk2 tuner series cams, type r intake mani and tb, hondata intake mani thermo gasket, rc 750 injectors.
trans:
gsr hydro just bought and installed by project import for $1100 about 6 months ago...since purchased only put on 350 miles on it. its perfect, it better be for a $900 tranny, exedy flywheel with act clutch.
turbo is a garret .57 trim with 60 a/r. about 5000 miles on her. no problems, tail wastegate.

mishimoto radiator and hoses, fal 13 inch fan with homemade shroud, unknown intercooler with 2.5 inch piping, ext14 big crank battery with battery tender, my paint job on valve cover, bar sensor upgrade(cant really remember, the number 3 comes to mind????), skunk2 cam gears, new honda timing belt, honda trans and radiator fluid, skunk2 short shifter with skunk2 type r style shifter ***, nrg quick release hub and lock, nrg steering wheel, rota slip streams with those light weight lug nuts, falken azenis up front with kumho ecstas in rear, 3 inch downpipe all the way back, has vibrant stealth muffler and 18 inch resonator(the thing is super quite for what it is),ngk plug wire, b and m fuel pressure regulator and gauge, endyn catch can, skunk 2 adjustable coilovers, ebay traction bars and turbo timer, nrg grounding kit, walbro fuel pump, clutch lock, there might be more....but everything listed at most has 5000 miles....alot is practically brand spankin new.
car was tuned at church automotive. 395hp/243trq on chromepro. church recommended not to go past 400 hp on the stock sleeves. car red lines at 8500 at 13.5 psi.
oil changed every 1000 miles with new ngk plugs bkr7e; i know extremly excessive...ocd.
i originally built this beauty to be a daily driver with some power. i was hoping for about 300hp but was surprised with the power it made....it was obviously a very effecient motor. she gets 31 mpg if drivin conservatively. i had a baby so i think i need to get rid of her. im not a 16 year old kid driving this thing like a idiot....i treat her very good and drive like an old women.....i am one of those guys who has toys when they were a kid still in there boxes, if that means anything to you.
the bad...the body is not the best, i was never worried about the look but more the performance, so it has its share of minor dents and scratches, but nothing too bad. also it was tuned on chrome and for some reason when you start the car when its luke warm, not hot and not cold but in the middle, it needs help idleing just alittle for like 7 seconds or it will have a very low weird idle until drivin. i really dont know why but thats how it is. there was alot more headway made in terms of horsepower and not so much in suspension.....it has newer skunk2 coilovers but unknown mileage on the skunk2 upper control arms....no sway bars or super high speed low drag suspension stuff. when i got it she had those wino h.i.d. lights, i cant stand those things but they work fine.
if you have any questions please pm me or email. i bought the car for $3500 and probably put in over $10000. i know i wont see much of any return on this but i would like to get $6800. i beleive that is a extremly reasonable asking price and could easily be parted out for more....im just to lazy and want a quick and easy sale. please no " can i come over and drive the **** out of it" calls or other nonsense. i just hope someone uses this thing for what it was made for.......race this thing and really drive it for your enjoyment.
