how many miles on your turbo before something broke?....
just as the title says, how long did your turbo go before something broke and money webt out the window.

I went about 50 miles on the LS piston'ed B16a... then it melted 2 because of too much boost for stock injectors. Oops.
Now we built the motor, and I cannot keep a clutch/tranny in it at 8psi with a standalone that's untuned!

Mine broke before the turbo even went in!! Guess I have a fresh new b16 to boost now.. I'll let ya know when I blow this one up, too.

5 miles.
I lost an oil line the first 5 miles. Next failure:
3 more miles.
Exhaust connection came loose. next failure:
100 miles.
Burned up the stock clutch. next failure:
1000 miles.
Stock fuel pump gave up the ghost. next failure:
10 miles.
New fuel pump overfuels and fouled plugs while blowing fuses.
I am just kidding about the actual miles, but be prespare to do minor repairs all the time.

About 5K miles then spun a rod bearing. 
Rebuild was completed last night!!! The motor started on it's first try. I just need to finish my exhaust and bleed the clutch lines.....then it's off to it's 3K mile break in!!! Woohoo!!

7k miles: Charcoal canister blew a hole somehow
8k miles: IAC valve plugged with ALOT of dirt (not running filtered turbo..should though)
