Default How to remove automatic shift plate? (2000 Honda Civic)

I'm trying to fit a Crown Royal boot over the stock auto shift plate and want to know how to remove it so I can fit it. Any help will be appreciated.

Remove the center console, once you get that off there are 2 screws IIRC holding that plate on, although you shouldn't even need to remove it, just the center console that goes around it.

After just sitting in the car looking around that area in general, I decided to just remove any screws/nuts/bolts around. It's more of a pain than I imagined.

To remove it I had to unbolt the front bolts on the driver's seat, unscrew the two front-most screws in the armrest (one on each side), all six (three on each side) screws holding the shifter base down and then there's three screws holding down the actual plate ... and they HAVE to be removed. One of those three came out without problem, the other two will have to wait until tomorrow, I guess I don't have enough muscle (I'm about to start stripping it).

I like automatics. I prefer a manual if I plan to go fast, but an auto is perfectly fine for a DD.
