i recently bought a 1997 integra gsr from my friend and he went over train tracks and the car just died and wouldnt turn over so he started unhookin evrything to pull the engine. i bought it and hooked everything back up and got it to turn over but cant get it to spark at all. any ideas. btw the wiring harness is **** its chopped and screwed and molested but it ran on it so idk? any ideas why i cant get spark?

 

just try a new harness

 

either that or get a diagram and get to tracin.

 

I have had a crappy harness short to the block and have my coil taken out...twice.... Might be something to consider.

 

Check for power to the distributor assembly, with ign. switch in both run and start positions.

Check grounds at thermostat housing.

Check coil and igniter, [ICM]. 94
