Default Which intake is best for JRSC

Morning all, last night I finally got my car fired up; however, I am having an issue with intake fitment. I attempted to use my Password JDM Whale Dick, but that didnt fit. Then I attemped to use my AEM CAI, that didnt fit either.

I have the AC lines running there. It seems that the placement of the TB now is lower than on the NA manifold. Which intake should I get?

Thanks
Shah

Chop your AEM up to change the angle. Maybe a GSR intake may work, but the ID is smaller so that wouldn't be an option if it were me.

Well I attempted to use the Password JDM whales dick but it was sitting too high in relations to the location of the TB.

I'm using a JRSC specific tube by Comptech as well as their icebox. I have never seen a JRSC with a whale dick mocked up. The less restriction the better, but heat kills too. If it's cold enough outside, I'll run without the icebox lid on. I believe JR makes an intake too.

When the kit was originally designed it put the t/b in the same location as on the GSR. You can use a GSR shorty or just do what I did. Stuck the filter straight to the t/b. Trust me if you do this there is no hiding the wale of the screws when you put your foot on it.

Isn't the placement still much lower than the GSR? When using my stock TB, the coolant passthrough will touch my AC lines and whatnot. Right now I'm using a blox 70mm

ya the trick is whatever intake you decide to go with get the model for the gsr. like stated above tb location is the same for the jrsc as the stock gsr manifold.

It's in the same location because the CAI for the GSR will fit perfect. I don't suggest using the CAI but rather the shorty tube because the sc has to work harder to get the air to it. N/A the air flows in at atmospheric pressure but the sc causes a vacuum in that long of a tube. Or at least that what my research has yielded me.

Any of you guys running water/meth injection? I have a devilsown kit 150psi pump and 5gph nozzle pre TB. Before I had a 3gph in the back of the manifold. It's on a boost pressure switch set to about 4.5psi
