launch ?'s
i don't suggest launching any higher than 3000 RPM on street tires. with JRSC you definately need some better tires in order to get the most out of it in 1st gear.
look into BFG drag radials, falken azenis, or nitto NT555. falken tires are pretty good and affordable as well. LSD would help as well, but again, you gotta have better tires.

The only time I ever launch is on Auto X. This past weekend I launched between 4-5k RPMs.
2nd, your response really has no relevance to this thread

1st, you dont have a prelude so why are you posting in this thread?

HELLO, the guy is asking how to launch a prelude with a JRSC, not a near stock GSR. big difference.

1st.) I do have a prelude its a 5th gen.
2nd) My brother was using my computer and I didn't log him out and he log himself out so when I posted, I posted under his name.
3rd)Yes my response does have relevance to the thread. The question was basically how should I launch my prelude.
I told him this

If i launch at 4500 rpm's i will smoke my tires like crazy. I am running 19 inch Racing Harts M5's. I also have a stock pair of rims and i'm looking to get a set of 17'' Racing hart CP8-R's

I'll interpret my response for you since you obviously are having a tough time intrepreting it. It means that I'm not a STUNNA and I don't launch on the streets,( which can further be interpreted as I don't street race) the only time I launch my car is in Auto X events, and since I launch my car at AutoX events that has relevence to the question at hand. GOD I feel like I'm explaining something to a 4th grader.

therefore meaning he is most likely racing ON THE DRAG strip which would make your comment dumb and immature
its funny because if you were to read the original post, it said how do I launch on STREET TIRES.....not ON THE STREET...
do you have a JRSC?
log out?
Oh BTW why are you posting in here. I think a F23 and H22 series engines are a bit different i.e. we have an exhaust cam and an intake cam and you only have one cam. So now its your turn to explain to all the 4th graders in the world why you post here.

i didn't try to answer the question even though i have no clue what would work because i've never tried launchin a SC prelude on the track, unlike someone that thinks the launch technique he uses at the auto-x for his n/a prelude has any relevence to the original question
I'm done this isn't going anywhere.
and your reply really had nothing to do with the dude's question.
read his question again, and read your answer.
it's like asking "what color shirt should i get?" and getting "my pants are blue" for an answer.
no offense though, just don't argue it.
