THE OFFICIAL 2011 "MIDDLE OF SUMMER MEET" July 30th (WA)
https://honda-tech.com/forums/northwest-85/2nd-annual-mt-baker-import-run-july-16th-2011-a-2932019/ <---- same day as your meet
.......
.......
I just think having 3 meets in a year takes the fun out of it. People need some time to put their cars together. 2 meets is good enough, but thats just my opinion.
I'd much rather go to a July meet than one at the end of the summer. You need a larger concensus before you want a thread closed solely based on the fact that you made up plans for a meet the day of the last meet, don't you agree?

Sept is too far away. Judging by the last HT meet on sat not many people put in the effort for their cars anyways
SINCE the import drive is the same day Id recommend JULY 30th then
thanks for your input

3 HT meets just kinda kills it since we have other forums too you know. I suggest moving the date later to somewhere like early August and scratch the september meet? Jsut a thought.
If your gonna move it to august, might as well just leave mines and scratch this entirely. LOL theres really no difference between mines and his then. Besides the fact that everyone will be back from their Vacations by the end of august leaving them time to attend the one in September. Everyone will be back in WA before school starts. And you gotta think about people who take Summer Quarter in college, end of August is when everyone is cramming in for Finals.
i researched everything out, i didnt just randomly throw a date out LOL. And trust me i've had this plan WAYY before the Spring meet ever went through. Sticking to my date.

No one is forcing anyone to go. The only reason why I made one is I didn't feel like going through 9+ months of rain to have a meet in Sept ( the end of summer ). Thats it. Why not take advantage of the good weather that we rarely get? Plus sept 3rd is not exactly summer for people who go to colleges like WSU who start last week of AUG

Thanks for moving the date. You need to edit your post as well to reflect the change.
I don't think 3 meets is too many. Like you said, nobody is forcing anyone to go to any of them. As long as they are well organized and in a good location, you can't have too many IMO. Without the rain this spring meet would have been amazing.
iHEARTMYCiViC has done a great job researching his date, so let the September meet continue as it was.

Every year there is always a spring and end of summer meet. Why waste our summer to wait until the end. Look what happen to the spring meet last week. A good turn out but weather was not cracking. I think this meet is a great idea.

. AgreedAnd to O.P. you forget that the majority of Washington colleges runs on a Quarterly schedule, as opposed to WSU who runs on a Semester schedule.

might possibly make this meet just because the first meet did suck, but all depends on work, not asking for more days off, but I'll try and make it out
