I rarely post up with issues so here we go.
Are they supposed to slam you like this? I was not expecting this kind of drop at all. I installed these on the fronts only and I was hoping to keep the 1/2" gap I had prior to installing these. The 18's I had on there were tucking tire so I thought If I swapped the 16's off of the wife's hatch that I would get some clearance back but that was only a quarter of an inch.
The exhaust piping is only 2 1/2 inches off of the ground. Also I'm getting rubbing on the splash shield on the drivers side only, which appears to be about a half an inch lower than the passenger side. Mind you I have these dialed up all the way to the top of the perch.
The ride quality however is SWEEET!. Not too happy about the drop. So do I have suspension issues that I need to address or is this it?

Okay. Thinking about this a little further. There's about an inch and a half of the shock that slides into the fork. Would there be any issues in trying to reclaim some height by setting the fork at a lower point on the strut?
The car is all the way up and still to low?
Hmm, I have only heard of this when using H&R ultra lows. lol
Which car is the car in question?
I am lower, and have 0 issues. Neither of those cars is slammed.

The blue beater is the car in question. And it's slammed to me. Not a lot of ground clearance and having to use a low profile jack constitutes slammed in my book.

The little notch going around the bottom of the front dampers should align with the pinch bolt on the forks. I would not trust the dampers not being fully seated in the fork. It will try to slip down to seat itself. Mine always does when I don't get my forks fully seated when putting the suspension back on. When I first drive it, it will make a loud metallic TWANGGG sound as the forks seat themselves against the brake line brackets on my Koni shocks.

i think the ride height looks great man, thats not slammed at all. and i dont think i would try to even try to not fully seat the shock, theres probably a reason it sits in the fork the way it does

Okay! Noob mistake. Somehow between the mockup I did a few weeks ago and the actual installation the springs got swapped around and the 250s are what I just spent my Saturday morning installing. I wouldn't put it past one of the family members to have been monkeying around with my parts. It wouldn't be the first time.
That's why they are sitting so low I imagine and why I was wondering how Progress considered this a 1" drop.
Don't have the time to swap them back around tonight but at least I have some piece of mind knowing there isn't a defect with the car or the CS-IIs.

Good find. pain in the *** to have to swap them after all that work.
I was glad I got 350/350, lol, i didn't have to decipher which one was which. As they aren't marked.
And they do ride amazingly well. I'm very happy with mine. Glad to see one of us regular posters got them also. Now you and I can both honestly say there is no reason to get skunk2 suspension products. LOL.
Progress < Koni/GC < AMR
End of story.

Swapped out the 250s for the 350 and the ride quality is even better. Still about the same height as before but I'm not too concerned about bottoming out like I was before. Heading to a shop right now to get the frozen rear LCA bolts broken loose so I can get the rears, swaybar and LCA's installed.
Without a front swaybar at least the front rates seem soft. Being that the engine is under those rates it makes sense, but without having rear rates at least close to that 500 you might create a lot of understeer. Not too sure.
If your still concerned about bottoming out put the 18" back on, the gap isnt so much what causes bottoming its the chasis height. With the larger wheels the chasis is gonna be higher.

Been taken care of. If you check teh problem was with the wrong springs being installed in the front.
If I had it to do over again I wish I'd gotten 500F/350R

I have 350/650. 350 isn't stiff enough; might raise it a bit cause I don't want to spend more on getting new crap.
