this seems to be a really straightforward job but im hitting a few snags. ive looked at the schematics for the wiring of the injectors and tried to match everything up. whenever i think ive got it, something confuses me. i just want to be sure im doing it correctly the first time...
ISSUE: wire colors+resistor box wires
the color wires off the rdx pigtails i have are black with a white stripe and solid white on all 4. the way ive interpreted it, solid with solid and stripped with stripped. is this correct? can i call it game over and wire it up?

also, the resistor box delete i have to do in order to run these has me a little confused. whats the 5th wire for? the ecu or the 12v wire?

i have the 8 pin plug from an obd1 harness and since the pins i pulled out of the green plug that goes into the resistor box dont fit, i have to wire in the yellow/blk wires that came with the 8 pin. i colored one of them black. i just want to be sure im doing this correctly...

The one, [yellow/black] is input to resistor box from injector relay in PGM-FI Main Relay, the four [red/blacks] are outputs, to the injectors, all five can be wired together if resistor box is nor used.
Normaly the injector plugs would have one lead that is the same color on all plugs, [power side, from injector relay/resistor box] and one lead that is a diff. color on each plug, [ground plulse from ECU/ECM.
It should not make any diff which way you do it as long as all the plugs are done the same way, not even sure if that makes a diff., as long as one is power and the other is the correct one from ECU/ECM for that injector number. 94

so, it shouldnt matter which way the pigtails get wired just as long as they are all facing the same way? and yes, the injectors all have a red/blk wire and another wire of some random color.
So line up the plug and pigtail you have with the stock injector plug, [plug locking clip facing the same way] the pigtail that "lines up" with the red/black will be the 12V+ side the other pigtail will be the ground pulse from ECU/ECM.
Do the "RDX pigtails", [or info you got with them] not designate one of the tails as 12V+?
" ive interpreted it, solid with solid and stripped with stripped. is this correct?]
Don't count on it. 94

according to the person i got them from he says that they can be wired in any which way because they are solenoids and theres no polarity involved...
hmmm... idk about that... can i get a second on this one?
