Default NEED HELP BADLY!!!***** 98 integra ls!

ok so my car is in limp mode. i got it checked and it said crank sensor. i changed it 3 times with a used one and a brand new one today. still isnt working i reset the ECU every time also. i changed my dizzy with 3 dif ones with and w/o msd and changed wires and spark plus injectors and changed it back to stock fuel pressure regulator IDK what the heck is wrong!!! its frustraiting me badly! the only other code i get it o2 sensor heater blah blah on sensor 2 at the cat. pls someone help me out on this one!

Ok - sure it's not the CKF (the one down on the crank behind the pulley)? Just askin.

If it's one of the sensors in the distributor and you've changed it multiple times, that leaves wiring between the distributor and the ECM.

Do you have a volt-ohm meter?

just like mark said check the wiring, because i dont think the tegs have crank sensors but i could be wrong

Obd2 do. Like stated above I suspect wiring as your your problem.

Did you disconnect the battery each time to reset the codes when you changed parts out? If so and it keeps saying CKF fault you can always try to bypass it in case it is wiring. I have an OBDII ecu and bypassed the sensor when I went with an OBDI motor and it runs great.

If you want to keep the sensor (which i wouldn't blame you) I'd break out the old multimeter and wiring diagrams and check the electrical connections.

Like I said though, I bypassed it and it runs great. I researched before I just cut wires and a lot of people seemed happy with the bypass.

thanks for all ur help guys i finally figured it out by pulling my ecu and looking in it and ya burnt resistor snapped in half..
