car not charging battery enough, dont know what to do!
94 ls stock, only getting about 12.3 volts with engine running and i've already been through two alternators. i heard from someone that it might be the electrical load detector. if thats the problem, how do i check it? also, no check engine light. thanks.
thats clearly an alternator problem, what kind of alternators are you using? Ive had instances where ive gone through 4 of those worldcraft alternators in the same day on other cars, the ones they sell at advance auto parts.
eh, ive always found beck arnley stuff to be junk, at least their gaskets are, nothing but problems with them, when it comes to alternators, i accept no substitutes, denso only.
DENSO Part # 2100211 is 188 bucks through rock auto, if you can wait for mail order, not sure how much it is in retail stores.
