Default slammmm your CRZ!!

everyone i know says this is impossible but alas, here we are to prove that it is not only possible but not really THAT difficult.

and if we can do it, so can you.

SET UP:
REAL DEAL DC5 Integra Type R wheels in BASF Porsche GT orange
+25Mil spacers all around
Buddy Club N+'s (the only set on a CRZ as of right now)
45 series tires
NO camber bolts in front
fender liners still IN
"worked" rear fenders/QP area

WINNING!

the part collecting.. all in all this took a couple weeks...

then we had to do a fair amount of custom work as the rear qp and fender area's are a bit tricky but there is just something COOL about F'ing up brand new ****...

and so we made her the LOWEST static CRZ IN THE NATION, and i drove put another few hundred miles on her and got her dialed in on the stockers...

and then last night, i got the call that everything was ready to rock and i dropped everything i was doing and headed up the 15 to the shop...

^^ LOL, i just found that button ^^

LOOK HOW HAPPY THE GIRL IS

okay went into Honda to get TPMS code cleared @ Mission Valley Honda where my guy Tony hooked me up, and threw in a detail which was long overdue. never PAID for someone to detail my car before LOL.. i must be balling haha.

This is huge! I've been waiting to see a CRZ's suspension done right.
Now I can't make up my mind whether to go with the S2k or go with a CRZ!
They brought glory back to the JDM D15B engine.

So are these Buddy Club's made specifically for a CRZ or is it for a different application?

you would both be very surprised as was i, with the springs i have and the dampeners set where they are now.. it rides MUCH "better" than stock.

1. "better" is in the eye of the beholder.

2. i am going by what counts on my gf's car.. whether she has any residual boobie bounce pain after she rides in the car. with stock stuff the ride was still a little harsh for her and her awesome *****. but with everything dialed in its a softer, "better" rider in her opinion.

3. you wouldn't know now would you mister patrick.. being as you dont even know the springs rates, the settings, or the few odds and ends that had to be addressed in order to get her perfect for my babygirl...

anyways.. im adding some pics and vids enjoy guys and if you are not one that is stuck in the past and wants to embrace the future.. buy a CRZ. you will be happy you did.

Thanks!

some one loves their GF......Too much.....

Bold #1: It is true. What may seem "smooth" to you and your GF maybe different to what others think. srry, but slammed cars that I have rode in, ride like ***.....

Bold Number 2: Is that your GF in the vid?

I test drove a CRZ, CBP, 6 spd. It was okay.....

But, nice car, good looking spoiler, and looks mean!

BTW, what are the spring rates for the Buddy Club N+'s??

lol oh boy here we go again. If the car is slammed (much lower ride height than stock), one of 2 things MUST be true. The car either slams into the bumpstops and bottoms out all the time, or the springs are MUCH stiffer to keep the car off of the bumpstops.

Either one of those is going to make the car ride "worse" by most people's definition of ride quality. Yes, a "better" ride means different things to different people, but to MOST people on this planet, a much stiffer and/or bumpy ride will be described as "worse" ride quality.

You cannot defy the laws of physics.

^ not swinging, but I agree. I am on Eibach sportlines/AGX right now and it rides pretty good because it has enough room for the spring and shock to work at the same time. I had a set of PIC Apex before and on the lowest spring perch setting, it rode like ***. The best ride, you wouldn't believe, was at 3/4 up. As Patrick stated, there is simply not enough room for your spring to travel, and your shock absorbers, absorbing nothing at all. Probably riding on bump stops....

we are at EXACTLY 42mm from lowest setting. would take pics for proof... but i do not have time for that and i did NOT post this minor lil project to argue with the post ****** and wannabee techs on here. i simply put this up to show what IS possible when approached with foresight, and the right mentality.. and a **** ton of LUCK with aftermarket support lol.

if i wouldnt stumbled onto this particular set of coils NONE of this would have been possible without some SEVERE custom fab work.our

anyways, if you or your customer has a CRZ feel free to pm or email me @ 213crz@gmail.com to get any advice or to get a set of these coils. and i DO have access to at LEAST one more set of these for sale.

Threads should be posted for beneficial modification and people that need legitimate help, not "look, I hacked my perfectly good CRZ...just because people said its not possible."

Give you props on the rim color though, its obnoxiously awesome.

If you don't want criticism or speculation don't post on a public forum. Host your own website.

That said, the car looks great. I'd personally raise it up another inch all around.

I really like the look! It's amazing to me the difference in the body lines on any car after it's lowered. Great pics as well!
