1995 Integra Main Relay Clicking no fuel pump prime
so i bought a 1995 integra as a shell and finally got my swap put together and installed a brand new walbro 255 fuel pump and just got a perfect working ecu chipped and ready to start. So when i put the key onto the second position as the on position the fuel pump is supposed to crank. But it does not crank and the main relay goes crazy and wont stop clicking. i take the plug to the fuel pump and there is no voltage at all. also what is odd is when you put it in two position while the main relay is clicking crazy the oil light and the check engine light on the dash go dim and almost off. but what is more odd is that if you disconnect the main relay and then go to second position again then the oil light and the check engine light are fine. or if you leave the main relay in and the ecu unplugged oil light stays on fine but there is no check engine cause no ecu. idk what is going on i already tested two other main relays and same result and also tried two more good working ecu's and i checked all fuses and most of the ground on the wiring has anyone had this problem???
it sounds like there is a short somewhere in the fuel pump circuit. did this problem occur before the pump was installed? what exactly have you done between the time that it was working fine and the time that it started acting up?
Ditto the above, a relay that clicks on and off repeatedly, [clicking] is a sign of a poor ground.
I would unplug fuel pump, at the pump and see if results are the same, no dimming of oil light/CEL
No ECU/ECM is pretty much the same as no PGM-FI Main Relay as the fuel pump relay would not turn on, so if short is at the pump or wiring running to pump with no PGM-FI Main relay or no ECU/ECM the result would be the same, no short. 94

idk if this helps but i put in a walbro fuel pump thats for a DA because i had a brandnew laying around, my thermostat housing is connected all of the grounds under the hood are fine, i just got my hands on some schematics from the main relay to the ecu so i am gonna check all of the grounds thanks guys.
Berb watch toss that info out. I did and got my post deleted and a infraction for nsxnasty for posting info about illegally obtained copywrited material.
