Hey everyone,

I thought I would post a link to a meet that was just announced yesterday by Import Meet. I helped organize the meet last year that some of you guys may have attended. The link to my 2010 S2KI thread is here: 2010 Baker Run Thread. We had around 40 cars go last time and they consisted of all makes and models.

Meet at 9:00 AM – Leave at 10:00 AM

My friends and I are promoting this year's meet pretty heavily and our goal is to fill the entire Heather Meadows parking lot. ImportMeet.com will be providing free hot dogs and NOS Energy Drink will be giving away free drinks/swag!

Note: This is a spirited drive on a public road. Excessive speed and reckless driving is not endorsed whatsoever. If you are driving unsafe, you will be asked to leave the group and not return. You will also not be welcome on future drives.

Yea, that's my friend's Ariel Atom. Pretty amazing machine. I rode in it when he first got it and it was ridiculous. Hope to see a bunch of you there. Please RSVP on the site if you plan on attending so we can plan for food/drinks.

The only meet that I ever got to take the NSX too, Im in for sure... but no more NSX haha.

no way, this seems like a blast, i really wanna go but i'll be in ecuador on a mission trip the 8th-19th dang, ill let some of my friends know for sure tho. have a blast.

 

Just an update:



We have 58 people confirmed on Facebook and others on various other forums. NOS Energy Drink has decided to help sponsor the event by providing free drinks. ImportMeet.com has also stepped up and will be providing hot dogs free of charge.

It's less than 2 weeks away and 74 are attending and 64 maybe attending on Facebook.

Didn't realize how far Bellingham and Mt. Baker was from me. Not sure if I can handle a 3hr ride back home after a day on the mountain, I'm not as young as I once was.

 

Just to let everyone know, it may be raining on Saturday. We still plan on having the event and we will have a tent over the BBQ area. If the roads are slick, please drive carefully as there may be spots with loose sand/gravel. Hope to see you guys there!

 

Sounds like a pretty solid group is still going rain or shine, I will be there and hopefully some of the HT crowd will join.
