Default Not sure what kind of gun or pressure

Hi i am about to do my first paint job with a air paint gun. I am not to sure on what the brand is. All i know is that the paint container is bottom mounted an is infront of the handle. when I can get a pic up I was wanting to know if any body knew what the psi should be. I am being told to use 30to 35 psi for the base coat then for the top coat use 30 then for the clear use 25 but that is with out them seeing the gun. Any information given will be greatly appreciated thank you for future info.

You want to paint a car with one of these?

Good luck....you will be much better off with a good gravity feed gun instead.

You don't need a gravity feed gun, its all in what you feel comfortable with...

It will work if you have the skill, but the tank below the nozzle makes it awkward in some positions. You will be more likely to get uneven coverage with those types of guns on a car.

Also, you need to find out the CFM usage to make sure your compressor can keep up.

Get a Eastwood gun I bought one they are great. They are almost a LVLP gun so they will not be too bad with over spray. The best part is they will run on many compressors. I have a 25 gallon and I think you might can use a lower one maybe even a 15 or 10 gallon.
