Default Test pipe with stock exhaust

What up guys, got a question.
My cat just went bed so i have been forced to use my test pipe. I only used it for the track since with the Test pipe and Tananbe RM combo it was LOUD as hell. im hoping the stock exhaust will muffle some of the noise and give me a little bit of power. Well do any of you guys run your test pipe with stock exhaust, and did you notice an gain/drop in power.

I ran a 14.3 with a passenger in the car with just a test pipe on stock exhaust and intake in about 70 degree weather. It definitely wasn't decreasing power.

Well when i put it on it was a massive in crease in power, ran a 14.6 with it on. Not my best run, but better than stock. I even measured both piping, both ar 2 inches. So dont have to worry about baffeling of air. I just moved to Cali form tx and i have gotten pulled over like 5 times now for my Tanabe so i am going to go with this for a while to see whats up.

Well i think since i have bottomed that thing out on speed bump after speed bump, the Piston or the honeycomb inside has fallen out, so all it does is rattle, profusely and its getting on my nerves. Also its 784 from honda for a new one.!!

Well nobody in their right mind would buy a cat from the dealership. Get a high flow job or one from a salvage yard.

It's against federal law not to use a cat. IOW a testpipe on public streets. If you have to suffocate your car with a cat, and you don't want an aftermarket high flow unit for whatever reason, what other options are there? The dealer? Bah.
