all needles shake
HEllo everybody,
I am so scared, when I turn on the car on cold, the needles from the temperature, gas, and speedometer start to shake. Then after around 2-3 seconds, they get back to normal. After that the car runs normal. What could it be? It's a Civic 2005 with 135k miles.

Check your underhood fuses. My car does that when I blow my accessories fuse. Its a 10a (lower middle inside the fuse box). Does your radio reset everytime you turn your car on? Does your keyless entry work? Whenever I blow that fuse, all that goes down.
Which wire or conection Civichxtreme2? do you have any ideas on where can I start looking for? car runs great atm but if the problem is present I would like to prevent it before my car dies on the highway.

Well, it's an aftermarket radio, and it does not seem to reset. What I have noticed is that for example if I have the odometer in trip A or B, it resets to the odometer that has the milage of the car and A and B resets to zero. So far what I've done once is to switch the key to on position so the needles go on but the car does not start, and once they are in the proper level (gas mainly) I start the car and I do not see that. The keyless entry, what the heck is that? I have an alarm that can ignite the car, but what is the keyless entry? When I bought the car, the dude who sold it said that it the ignition works, but then you need to put the key to the car, but it has problems at the time the car reads the key or something like that. I need something on the alarm to be reprogramed.

Ok, problem now. The car wont start now. I hear a loud click tr tr tr trtrtrtrtrtr very rapidly when I turn on the key to start the engine. the speedometer needle raises to 20 mph and then goes down. Car does not start. I checked the fuses and everything seems correct. What can I do? please help
Yesterday morning I tried to start the car, so I set the key to on, where the lights and indicators form oil and maintainance and all that turn on, but the car does not start. So the gas needle goes to where it is supposed to. However, when I tried to start it, the needles shaked, and the car did not start at all. I heard a very rapidly clicking from the hood somewhere. I tried to start it three times, and did not work. I left the car alone. At night I returned and I turned the headlights on, as well as the roof light inside the car, and this time it started. The needles shook for 3 seconds more or less, the ceiling light was very dim, and I noticed the headlights got dimmer as well. I cannot tell how much dimmer, but it was noticable. Then as the car started the lights went back to normal and car idled normaly as well as normal gauges. I turned it off, and started it again, same thing, it started but same shaking 3 secs, dimmer lights, etc. I did that for 4 times and it started everytime. What could it be? Where can I start looking? Thank you

You have some sort of electrical connection loose or something. Id check all your ground wires, Somethings off and its probably causing all of the above.
If it did finally start than your battery and charging system is prolly fine.....check for a loose connection somewhere. Start with the grounds.
