either way it wont look like a UGR kit, everything im making is gonna be designed going strictly off of space available/simplicity.
no more than 900whp on the stock block. i am absolutely floored about having an opportunity to do this, stressing the **** out about doing a top notch job on it, its a once in a lifetime opportunity to do something that could put me on a map out there so yeah, im stoked!
Eugene, I would be wary of this project. The biggest concern I would have it why someone is dropping off a $200k car to a relatively unknown fabricator to have you build what is already available and tested. More then likely they don't like the price of current available (tested - see: proven) options which would raise a huge red flag with me (cheap skate), as a one off kit of comparable build quality should cost more unless your developing it for free and don't like to eat. Make sure you get paid upfront weekly for development work, and if they wont do that - ask yourself why you should be fronting the costs of their fantasies. There are very few people who understand the real cost of doing this type of development work on that level.
Tread lightly my friend. I would hate to see a project like this be your last. I helped a customer with highly discounted parts for a one off twin turbo saleen s7 last year, and it literally bankrupted his company when he couldn't finish it (within the required delivery date). He had underbid the job so badly that he had 2 months of working for free on it with someone breathing down his neck day in and day out. When the car was forcibly removed from his shop the customer then proceeded to sue him for damages and cost to "fix" the car (put it back together, etc). He didn't have the experience necessary and was very naive going into the project.
Looking forward to seeing good results! IMO judging from the TT Gallardo build I saw in person the fab work on something like this really isn't anything out of the ordinary, its the rest of the package like tuning and making sure it runs right without any cells that is the headache. Good luck
