Default 2001 clutch problem

ok i just changed the clutch on my civic along with a new master and slave, and when i go to bleed it im there for hours.... keeps hitting the floor. i mean theres nothing to bleeding a system, done it several times on other vehicles and worked fine but for some reason im having trouble here. fluid is coming out fine and no more air in the system, just having an issue building pressure for the pedal to retract and engage and disengage the clutch... any help would be quite useful.
p.s. i've searched for two days and used several methods, now i come here to seek more advice.

Any visible leaks? Did you replace the O-rings? Did you grease the slave cylinder properly? Maybe the new master or slave cylinder is bad.

Reverse bleed it......Open the resevoir and take small hand help pump to the slave cylinder bleeder valve...pump fluid in from the slave cylinder and I guarantee you wil have bubbles floating to the top of the resevoir. Its worked for me when all else has failed. Ive had to do that twice on 7th gens

How are you bleeding it? The way I did it was put a hose off the bleeder into a bottle or cup of fluid. Make sure it stays submerged at all times. Crack bleeder open and keep pumping it. And make sure you never run the reservoir empty. I changed out my slave a few weeks ago. Took about 15 minutes for it to get pressure back into the pedal.

Exactly the same procedure. But won't gain pressure at all.both slave and mc cylinder are the new

With the bleeder open manually move the fork a few times in between. I did that a few times. I've seen clutch bleeding take up to 2 hours before.. It's a bitch to do.

The lines dont really go bad unless thy are swelling or leaking, both of which you will be able to visually see. You have air in your lines I guarantee it, it needs to be bled more and properly. If all else fails get it to a shop that can fo this for you.

i was thinking about it, but i read also on a different forum, some guy said that the rubber hose line cracked and expanded to much that it lost pressure and wasnt building pressure to help retract the pedal, but then again idk how true that is.... i might just exchange the master and see whats up

i ended up changing the master once an the slave twice. my bet is on those lines u probably have a leak somewhere. theyre almost unnoticeable.

ok my question is why all of a sudden would it just not hold pressure and before the entire change it was fine? why was i not having problems sooner?
