i just put an ls in my car and i need to know what this tube is and if a line runs to somewhere?

plz help

 

its a vacume line that sould run back to your lower radiator hose follow your radiator hose from the bottom of the radiator back of the motor and there should be another addapter that looks like the one in your picture and just run a hose to it.

 

i didnt find one..can it just be blocked off?

That looks upside down. That hose should be the other way towards the Intake Manifold. It connects to your Fast Idle Thermal Valve, or your Idle Air Control Valve. But what bugs me is that, it lines up......

 

Pretty sure it is not a vacuum.

What is the MM&Y of the car or the car the engine is out of if a swap? 94

 

its a 97 ls in a 2000 integra. I dont think it would be vacuum either cause water comes out of there..

 

It's for bleeding the coolant systems. Do none of you have a haynes manual?

 

Yes I have a Haynes, so exactly where would I put the wrench to undo the air bleed bolt??? 94

 

it runs to your fast idle valve....if you have something running to that already you can T into that line with that one and you will be fine.

Ya.suposed to be like a little nipple thing to bleed it.but looks like it maybe been bootlegged..
Isn't the one for the ftiv come out the side of head or somthin like that?

 

I would just cut small peice of hose and slip it on and put a bolt on other end and get hose clamp..lol
Or try and unscrew it and get the nipple thingy,or find a bolt and screw it in insead of that
