Default Anyone have a Built motor using stock header?

Anyone have a setup close to this one using a stock header? Dynos?

b20 Vtec
84.5mm RS ITR pistons
GSR head with Skunk2 IM
Running Skunk2 Pro2 cams

Please dont comment with stupid Sh*t like WHY WOULD YOU USE A STOCK HEADER WITH A BUILT MOTOR and yadyadayadayada..... Just answer the question.
Just wanna know how much power people have made using a stock header due to strict Cali Laws. (exhaust and piping size doesnt matter)

the factory ctr header does pretty good. its cast iron top half with a 2.5" collector on the bottom.

i know they have emissions laws but how does that stop you from picking up if not any header but at least a BAR approved one?

theres a few but its not common.
id say try the JDM itr 4-1.

just buy an old rusty Greddy or DC header with the CARB stamp on it for $50-75 on craigslist, then knock it off there with a chisel, then go have it welded onto your favorite header for $5 and your done. That stock header will choke you big time and there is no need to use it.

Im glad you asked i was just going to start a new thread...

My set up:

2001 dc2
H22a sleeved to 90mm bore
stock h22a transmission <--------
12:5:1 Mahle pistons
*not only did i use the stock header i used
7-11 straws for a more smoothing/soothing
shifting experience!
custom intake
custom cams
adj cam gears
3.5'' to 3'' short ram
and a few other thing i fergot aboot.

The power is explosive and redlines like @ 15,000 rpms, and once i hit 88 mph....

Wow lol still all these dumbass noobs trying to get smart. I know that I can do all of the options above but I specifically asked if anyone has any dyno graphs of a setup that's similar to what I stated above. Btw the Jdm itr header Isnt legal and I just pOsted the pistons and cams because obviously you can't use skunk2 pro2 cams on a stock valvetrain so obviously the motor would have to be built -_-

I agree with the other poster re: attaching a CARB EO plate to the header of your choice.

The only time that method wouldn't work, is if you were to take your car to a BAR Referee station, in which case they would notice that the CARB EO number and the header design don't match up. However, if you get sent to a Ref station, you have bigger worries since you're running a B20 and that is not a legal swap in CA (unless you're driving a CRV, lol)

No need to restrict yourself to CARB legal or stock headers if all you need to do is pass visual SMOG inspection or a CHP road-side check.

just cause its bored a lil w/ itr pistons and cams doesnt not make it built. rods, bearings, rod bolts, sleeves, head studs, valves, springs, retainers....kinda the stuff people have when they have a built motor.

No one has any graphs because no one is dumb enough to expect to make and hp with a stock header. It's as simple as that.

Exactly, Who is dumb enough to expect to make hp? Was I asking if the stock header would make power? No, I was asking if anyone has any dynos on a similar setup using a stock header simply because they couldn't afford a decent header yet and had to tune their motor using what they've got so it would run correctly.

Also to the people that are arguing about this motor being fully built just because it has the word "BUILT" on it are retards. Please just stop lmao. Damn stupid kids like you are the reason why people hate Honda-tech.

no dyno graphs available unless you own the May 2004 issue of HCI magazine, but this hatch put out 217whp and 147 lb-ft tq. best time is 12.8 secs on the 1320. 84.5mmx87.2mm B18C1 block. Skunk2 stage 2 camshafts and gears, toda valvetrain, JDM ITR header, JG intake manifold. he also ran ITB's with the Type R header. He later changed the header tho.

I don't think people install it to expect a lot of power, but to install because it simply works. Can you make more power with a better header? Of course, but the numbers I posted is fair amount of power for me and also for others such as the car I posted in that link. Pushing 200+whp and running 12's all while using a JDM stock header in a daily driven car is good enough for me. If your a horsepower chaser then upgrade to a bigger header, bigger cams, or go the K series route.

If you have the Dsport March 2006 issue it has the Modacar EK which is a 84.5mm X 87.2 B18C5, w/ Toda B cams, JDM ITR header. It put out 210whp and 158 lb-ft. Best time it ran was a 12.8sec on the quarter mile. I think its ATS*Mark's car now and he rebuilt the engine, but I'm not sure so don't hold that to me. Cheers.

Ya, ability to run a different header on the street totally justifies moving locations... WTF?
