Searched and the only help I could find was was for DPFI --> MPFI conversions and i dont have that intention yet...just want to get it running.

Got the car for nothing from some guy and im trying to get it started. It does crank and there is new fuel in the tank. When i crank it it just cranks but no firing. Had my dad put some fuel in the intake hole and it ran for about 2 seconds before it died. Car wants to start but the fuel isnt getting there. Fuel is coming out when the line is disconnected from the intake manifold but from what I gather, the injectors arent firing? I'm lost here. Fuel is at the IM but looks like thats where it stops.

I've looked in my honda manual (most info is for the MPFI system) and i dont know where to go from here.

Ideas?

main relay or fpr Have had both on theses old crx's

 

I can hear the fuel pump turn on when i hit the key and fuel is coming out of the IM when i disconnect it so its not main relay me thinks. i think its injector related but no idea how to test it. where is the fpr located?
