h23 help im clueless
alright this all seemed like a simple fix
a few months ago i got my car back from a paintjob and it sat there for 2-3months i believe
after i got it back it drove like crap, i moved, SOMEHOW i realized that it drove PERFECT while cold, and once the temp sensor warmed up it'd drive slow as hell again
so i changed plugs and wires
ngk copper, "wells" i believe wires.. i ASKED for Ngk. grr
ran BEST ever (ive only owned car about a year now)
for a week.
after that week it slowly got noticably slower just like before when they were bad
3 weeks goes by and its RIGHT back where it was
i change the wires again, this time some accel 8.5mm on friday, no difference, on monday i put in another set of ngk copper plugs
no difference
so wtf im thinking
i ask so many people and get so many diff responses
so far in the past month ive replaced.. dist cap(was good), rotor(was good), fuel filter(good too).. last night I put in some NGK blue wires and stock ngk coppers again
no difference
ive had a weaponR fuel pressure regulator sitting in the back of my car for 4 months, i looked at the plugs and itlooked like they had grey/whiteish on the electrodes, so i figured it was running lean..but they also had some carb on the threads under electrode
with FPR on (im not even sure if it WORKS cause of this), im reading my fuel at 60psi, and 70-80 when i tap gas
all my car has is headers, intake, and a gutted cat (gutted cause it started coming apart..)
people are telling me replace o2 sensor...replace coil. but i dont have the money to blow on $90 parts that wont fix it, i was fine replacing plugs and wires.. but that obviously didnt work.. PLEASE help

when it drives crappy = it bucks at low rpm, and is seriously 1/4 speed it usually is, ive been STOMPED by a stock LS (and yes i know it was stock), when my car usually hangs with 4g Vtec's for awhile
it feels like there SHOULD be alot more power, but.. its not there
when it ran great it was fast as HELL, i myself was getting pushed into the seat, and when it ran great it was quiet, right now it has a really low brrrrrp sound at low rpms.. till about 3-4k.. its loud as HELL.
