Post switch for->Radio FM/AM antenna amplifier?????

i got a radio antenna amplifier for my car because my vx don't have the reg antenna and i want to keep the shaved oem antenna cover.

i installed it and want to put a switch on its power side or ground??
idk what brand it is.

I got a switch push on/off type from radio shack specs. Rated 3A at 125VAC, 1.5A at 250VAC.
Whats the average car radio antenna amplifier Will this switch works.

thanks in advance.

For any DC application, you can either switch the power or ground wire. On stealth fuel pump kill switches, I prefer to use the ground instead of the power wires. *** That switch you have should work without a problem.
