It has been a very long time since I have been out racing and last year I started to rebuild my RSX. Because of different issues the car really didn't come together until now. I was also able to sign a sponsorship agreement with Kelford cams that will allow me to build an identical RSX. We are really just getting started but we should move quite quickly. I will do my best to update this thread as we go along.
These pictures are from my RSX back from media blasting and the Kelford RSX going to media blast. It is a bit confusing since both cars are blue right now.
For anyone that doesn't know, I have take a lot of steps to expand the retail and installation side of our business. I hired Jeromie Hicks a couple of months ago. If you are not familiar with who he is, he was the crew chief for Stephanie Eggums Hot Rod Civic. He is the only guy to make a FWD Honda run 7's. He is handling all mechanic duties around the shop. I have also hired Chad Bartlett and most of you know him for his black and red all motor Civic that has been running for the past couple of years locally and at some IFO events around the mid west. He is running the new shop side of our business and will handle all appointments, parts sales, and customer service.

We have the chassis and the parts for it. We havent started it since we were talking to a few people that are asking for it and figuring out what style we're going to do it. But aren't you connected with Franks, wouldnt he make one for you?

not sure what you need to make it happen, I will email you about it to get it started. I just bought two front ends from him for a customer car and a now shelved shop car. I don't have anything to do with Franks other than being a customer like anyone else.
Lookin good Chris. So your car is staying NA, and the new car will be an Outlaw build?
LOL @ making a front end for the demand of 2 vehicles, but cant make a front end for an EF or DA, when you have threads with at least 10 people interested...

both cars will be outlaw cars, it will be hard to get me back into an NA car again.
I was already thinking about paying to have a mold made anyway and I am sure that if someone was willing to do the same for the DA or EF then it would be done. I would even think about funding the project if I could get enough deposits on it.

im sure Exospeed would be willing to work with anyone that needed a front end. If theres a market for it, they will do it!
But the crx one u have IS? if i saw 1 crx at any given race racing that would be to much but u have a front end for it. i guarantee u can easily sell 20 EF front ends NO PROBLEM.Will, atleast direct the EF owners to someone that can do it for us since the chances of u guys doing it are SLIM to none

Again, I dont mean to sound like a dick here, lol. but I dont like getting attacked like we dont care. When it comes down to it, we only have so much staff to manufacture certain things. At the same time, things cost money to make. As a manufacturer, you make the things that would make the most money. We have a few things up our sleeves that we know can possibly make 300times more money than the EF kit. In a business standpoint, I'm sure you would agree which one is better for us to do.
Get your 20 ef owners to call and say put a $200 deposit and if we dont have it done within 6-8 weeks, I'll return their money back.
Lets see how many of those 20 actually put up the deposit.
And if some other manufacturer really wanted to do it, go for it, let them design it and start selling it. More power to them.
Dang Chris, I really didnt want it to turn your thread into this. If everyone wishes to delete this kit convo, please do so. I rather have Chris discuss his progress with his car than this.
