I have a 96 integra ls with a gsr swap. I put a chipped p28 on the car and it runs but only for a few minutes the shuts off. I thought this was weird and maybe my ecu was burned so I tried a stock p28 and it did the same thing. Now I was thinking maybe theres a sort in the car but when I run my obd2a p72 my car will run forever. Anybody have any ideas why my car doesn't want to run on an obd1 ecu??? Thanks

 

Beacuse it's an OBD-1 ecu.

 

What basemap is on the chipped p28?

 

I was wondering either your obd1-obd2 jumper is poor quality, or the p28 is bad

 

Well the chipped computer has a gsr base map that someone made for me on chrome. i considered the ecu being bad so i bought another stock p28 and does the same thing (not run)

 

Could it be my jumper harness even thought its not cut??

 

Where did you get the jumper harness from? Is it the correct obd2a-obd1 harness?

 

not sure i found it in my garage.. but i thought if it wasn't obd2a it wouldn't plug in right

 

I'm not positive but I would double check.
