i bought a 96 gsr a few monthes ago and today while looking at ecu stuff on the net i found out that my car doesnt come with a p28 but thats what i have. are these good/bad what are the advantages and disadvantages.
is it worth tuning my ecu if all i have is aftermarket intake.

 

not worth it for an intake. The p28 is a obd1 vtec ecu that can be easily chipped. Somone probably converted your car from obd2 to obd1 you should notice a conversion harness from the stock harness to the p28 ecu
