knock sensor

Default knock sensor

i have a 99 coupe with a d16y7 block which is non vtec and a d16y8 head which is vtec and the d16y7 block dont need a knock sensor but the d16y8 head does need a knock sensor what can i do to resolve this problem also the car is running on a stock ex ecu and wiring harnest which is vtec??????????

There's a threaded hole on the Y7 block since the Y8 shares the same block. So get a knock sensor and wire it to the P2P ECU. You can use a knock sensor from any B series VTEC OBD0/1/2, D16Y8, H22 OBD1.

i got the knock sensor i just dont know how to wire it what color is the wire

You'll have to wire it from the sensor to C3 on your ECU harness.
