My door shocks me
If you get a grounding strap (that touches the ground) and install tinfoil between your seat and seat cover. Make sure the foil on the seat bottom and Seat back don't touch!!! Then run a wire from the frame(neg) to the seat bottom and a wire from the seat back to the #1 or #2 sparkplug wire. Make sure your seatbelt is on and seat is so far back you can't reach the ignition. Have a friend start the car for you.
This will fix it.

its called static electricity man, its YOU that carries the electric charge, if you walk around alot in socks and dont touch metal objects often, you build up a charge
I feel your pain. My 99 EK shocks the crap out of me and it's passengers sometimes. I think of it as Honda shock therapy. It's something about the seat fabric, the dryness of the air, and an EK Civic that makes for a good conductive energetic cocktail
It is funny, but it also sucks. Especially when it shocks the women... "Cool car! Ouch!!

Really? Really? So every single time you touch the door you get shocked? If it's an electrical current it would go to suppose that it would be constant and you should receive a jolt every time you made physical contact with the door.
If it's just a momentary shock then it's static electricity. C'mon with this.

LOL.. sound like a electrical shock chair
I bought a DIY alarm once that electrified the skin of the vehicle to 100K volts. No damage to vehicle or electronics, but if you touched the vehicle it literally shocked the **** out of you!!! My sig other made me remove it, I guess she was afraid some old fart would touch it and go into cardiac arrest...
