knock off 255lph pumps are junk.
I went the cheap route and got a Xenocron nock off 255lph. well i got what i paid for. didnt even last a tank of gas. 2k resistance between power pins and also each pin has some resistance to case.JUNK.. Save your money!!! stay with Walbros
Just wanted to say big thanks to TH motorsports, and phearable and streetrays. TH when they realized how desperate i was for a pump so i could still race sat. Drop shipped me a Walbro 255 for a way better price than Xenocron wouldnt even split the shipping. Wow like i wanted to hear all their problems with Xenocrons returns and then sending the pump to vender to figure out it didnt work then talk about a refund. BS and last 59 bucks of mine they will get.. They really pissed me off with no help for my debute drag nite.
Nick at TH Motorsports is great and customer support. Just wanted to say thank you again.

I will get all the data and stampings off pump. It is a Xenocron 255 ltr/hr Fuel Pump
[xfp-fuelPump].59.00 .. pump looked like every other in tank 255. pulled car into work. Pump was dead. used Neptune thinking it mite of been cause(Neptune has never failed me) but i was able to turn pump on and off. Relay was putting power to pump. I ended up putting old pump in. car worked fine. I had 1.5m resistance between each pin and outer case. and between pins 1k. There is a center cap on bottom of pump i picked off with my finger. I really couldnt tear it down because after i send it back they have to send it to who made it to figure out it failed. I asked if they would ship a diff. pump in am. And no way they said. I politely hanged up phone set pump down.before it became a projectile.

I recently had an issue with installing a Xenocron pump as well, but my experience was the complete opposite.
The stock pump was going out in my hatch, so after some research and a recommendation from a friend, I ordered the Xenocron $59 pump. When I recieved it, I installed it the same day but the car would not start at all with it. I tried everything I could possibly think of, but it just wouldn't start with the Xenocron pump in it. Frustrated, I emailed Chris and got a reply fairly quickly. We exhanged ideas back and forth a few times, then he asked that I send it back. After he recieved it back, he did some testing and even sent a video showing my pump sucking gas out of a bucket to show that it wasn't an issue with the pump itself. The issue lied with the sock. Although I tried both the sock from my factory pump, and the sock sent with the Xenocron pump originally and neither worked, when he sent the pump back he sent a new sock with it and the car started right up on the first try. The new sock fit noticably tighter on the neck of the pump, so it makes perfect sense that the other socks that wiggled around a bit were letting air into the pump and making the fuel pressure very weak.
I was more than happy with the service I got from Xenocron. For a $59 part, it was much better service than I expected from the owner of the company. If it weren't for the fact that I just sold my hatch yesterday, I'd definitely do business with them again without a doubt.

DAP Alex! Thanks for your post with your issue! I'm thinking that this is the same problem as I am having! I've had suspicions about the sock being too loose, but I haven't "bucket tested" it yet. I plan to do that this week. Thanks for your post. I am going to copy that into my thread on the issue!
