ok i have a b16a i rebuilt it about a month ago everything is stock the only thing i did was swap in a set of ctr pistons which bump the compression up to around 11.9:1 now the car sound and run great , but the only problem im having is that it smokes burnt oil when i take it up into higher rpms around 6k and up but after i stop beating it, it doesnt smoke wtf could it be?

a friend told me it could be that i need a oil catch can to release crank pressure idk any help would be great

 

might be burning oil in higher rpms, when you built it.

did you break it in right?

 

i broke it for about 1000 miles before i wacked on it lol the car is fast but smokes lol

 

the only thing i didnt replace new was the valve seals idk if that would cause it

 

perform a dry and wet compression test and see what your numbers are looking like
