97 cx hatch coolant consumption

Default 97 cx hatch coolant consumption

Cant find an external leak and ive looked everywhere. Kar off kar running. Goes through coolant in like a week. Ideas??

Go to autozone or kragen and get a cooling system pressure checker. Test the radiator cap and the radiator. Check your oil too, might be milky looking.

Are you sure there is no leak? Can you smell burning coolant?

No burning coolant, Positive on no external leak. Thx on the cooling system pressure testerr. Didnt think about that. Ill check oil too -->"C"ars due for a change anyways.. Hopefully its just the capp.

check under the dash and carpet behind the radio area. it might be your heater core leaking.

Icon2 anti-freeze leak

i have a leak of coolant in my B18 but its not the radiator or hoses its coming from under the motor on the driver side and its not mixed in my oil. But i was running just water and now mixed in anti freeze and its still leaking.

Your water pump is leaking down the timing cover... Replace water pump

^^my water pump is leaking. that's why I wanted to be postive there were no leaks.

It took me a little while to finaly see the leak, but I did smell it.
