I have a quick question. Is the EG1 the Si trim on the Del Sol or EG2? I am asking because I am not really familiar with Del Sol's and I am selling one.It has a 8K redline Del Sol cluster but IDK if they might have swapped it. It also has a B16A2 swap but that from a EM1. Help will greatly be appreciated.

 

My 93 Si was an EG2 VIN coded car. Not sure if the 96-97 OBD2 Del Sol Si's were VIN coded differently or not.

Del Sol S models (EG1) came with a 1.5 liter SOHC non-vtec motor, rear drum brakes, and grey striped seats.
Del Sol Si models (also EG1) came with a 1.6 liter SOHC VTEC motor, rear disc brakes, and body colored stripes in the seats (black Si models came with red stripes)
Del Sol VTEC models (EG2) came with a B Series 1.6 liter DOHC VTEC motor, rear disc brakes and solid black seats with extra padding
I'm sure there are a few more differences, but those are the ones I notice first. I think the front brakes on the VTEC model are bigger (similar to the EX/Si brakes) and the suspension I believe is sportier... not sure on the last 2.
