Have a 1998 Honda Civic EX 4dr and my mechanic said that the channel is worn out - window dips forward when going up (power windows) - someone said here that it needed lube but the mechanic indicated that the channel was worn.

Which parts would I need? I assume the plastic clips that attach to the window and the main vertical channel? Does anyone know the numbers for these parts and are they hard to replace? Thanks!!!

Just clean it out and lube with silicone, and clean the edges of your window. If that doesn't work, then replace it.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there 3 screws behind the speaker that hold the panel into place? Guy in that video just rips the panel off.

Would be better to take off the speaker cover unscrew the speaker disconnect. Then there are 3 screws behind it that hold the panel on as well which, you need to take out 1st, before taking the entire panel off. Other than that though its a pretty easy fix.
