Icon2 squeeling while letting out clutch

hey everyone, i have a 94 delsol it has a b16 with a gsr tranny. i just recently bought the car and its making a squeeling noise when i let the clutch out.its really loud and sounds like its coming from around the right side which is where the transmission is and also even when in a gear my gear stick can move around quite a bit. also while going at high speeds its making a constant humming sound. im not sure if there different problems or not but any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like an input shaft bearing, and possibly your throw-out bearing as well. Start reading the FAQ section to learn how to remedy both problems.

yea you sir are incorrect, chattering is caused due to worn out clutch pads, or warped flywheel, nothing to do with his complaint. the humming noise could be several things, might not even be in the drivetrain, but if it is, it would be the pilot bearing which is located in the middle of the flywheel. the complaint of the squealing when engaging the clutch( releasing clutch pedal) could be clutch slave cylinder

I had recently changed over from a b16 trans to an LS trans. I have an ACT 4 puck installed and figured that while I was in there I would put in a new clutch disk. I installed the same 4 puck disk (new disk) and as soon as I started to drive it, I would get that squeal when letting off the clutch and giving it gas. It was pretty loud and I would even get it in 2nd sometimes. It annoyed me so bad that I tore out the trans and put the old clutch disk back in. Fine ever since, but that was only a few thousand miles ago.

I have the same issue now after my B18 swap. It was quite at first but i think after i replace the axcle it starting to make a metal rubbing like sounds.

There is no noise if you simply puch the car from stop nor push around the exhaust so difinitlety this is not the case.

When pressure applied on the clutch at fisrt gear or reverse and slowing releasing it that when it makes that noise.
