Before you get chewed for this, welcome! First thing first, I would just say upgrade your suspension. Thats it. Then go big, or go home....lol...No,Tune up is an important part of whole equation. then it gets pricy from there...Figure out your budget. Then your goals. But if I were you, lol, I was you for a minute, get the suspension upgrade. They are pricy, but better than your Intake, header, exhaust....everyone here runs Koni/GC coilovers(great)...I run Eibach sportlines springs, and KYB AGX struts(not so great) But its in my price range, and it rides pretty good...Good luck!!
Security, followed by proper maintenance w/ upgrades in mind.
Meaning, if your suspension is tired, replace all oem bushings that you need to address -- then by suspension. Make sure you know what you want out of the car so you don't have to do things multiple times.
Personally, I would do maintenance, suspension, some performance mods, then visuals.

First have the car looked over, take it to a shop and have them do a tpvi (total vehicle inspection) that will give you a idea of where to start if you have any immediate problems that need fixed live ball joints or brakes. Like stated above make sure plugs and fuel filter are good.
I would start with fuel system tune up sea foaming or b12 chem the engine through a induction service and also run it though the engine oil clean the inside up.
After that brake. One they make you faster on the track and two they are one of the biggest safety features on your car. Brake fluid swap it out if its old and shitty. Fluid absorbs 2% moisture each year. Could upgrade from dot 3 to dot 4 like super blue motul or w/e.
After that suspension even if oe shocks they will help you brake better. Sway bars like upping to the integra type r and strut tower bars.
Main thing you got to decide is what do you want to do with the car just look good cruising or the occasional track day
Goodluck bud.

1. security (cut off switches and alarm) 2. Tune up or oil change (both matters) 3. Suspension 4. V-tekk 5. Some bolt on proformence 6. Possibly tune
It's known as ls-vtec. Ls vtec is when you remove the non vtec head and put a vtec head on the car from a b16 gsr or type r head. There's more to it but that's short and sweet. In the faq section there is some good into on this set up.
ohhhh yea are those reliable though ive read a lot on their advantages and disadvantages too
so heres what you wanna do BAM ITR FRONT END
then BAM GREDDY EXHAUST
then BAM wait wait wait this ur first teg ?? yup someone slap a new driver badge on this cat

u better have some security on it after getting the maintenance done on it.
nothing sound system upgrades or anything fancy till get some security on it.
If you just have liability insurance on it only, than you better layered it up good. The second you think it can't happen to you, is when its just a matter of time before its gone. GL

Go with the alarm first, cause if you get all this other stuff and next thing you know your cars gone lol. Be safe and go with the security!
in this order, what i would do if i were you
have a detailed inspection done
fix any detrimental issues
alarm
suspension upgrades
if you're even remotely thinking about doing a swap, don't bother with any engine upgrades until you've got your mind made up on the powertrain set up. otherwise you'll just be pissing money away when you decide to change it out
