I'm running Brembo OEM blank rotors with Hawk HPS pads less than two years now. Just recently noticed that I have really bad pulsation. Going to get them resurfaced here soon. Is this normal for them to be warped so soon? Also if anyone is using Stoptech OEM blanks, how are they?

 

When do you notice this pulsation? Have the wheels recently been removed?

 

I first noticed it several weeks ago. I rotated my tires yesterday, and that's the only time the wheels have been removed since I have noticed the pulsation.

 

depends how hard you are on them. time frame means nothing in terms of brake life.

im using the cryo-stop coated rotors on tirerack. so far GREAT and they are cheaper than brembos nad have the coated veins and hat so no rusty **** looking rotors.

 

Check the rotors for runout. If there is runout, check the mating surfaces with the hub for corrosion or debris.
