Default d16a block

ok i have a block and the engine code is d16a but thats it i have the serial number off the block if that helps but i was wondering what car it came out of?

the d16a is a jdm engine. cant recall it being put in anything other than swaps. im sure japan had it put in something as stock but cant recall. its what i have in my 95 civic vtec atm. good little engine with quite a few options.

the engine is a d16a. its the only thing stamped on the block. misconception made by myself when looking into it.

Its just a jdm spec motor... You really cant tell unless you measure the bore..

i have one too, obd1 same as a z6, some were from jdm 4wd civics, one or two models of jdm civics also carried it. i think some were in cars in some of the pacific islands, there is not much information on it but you can always google it. people claim ps measurements anywhere from 125-130 lol
