i just bought a GReddy turbo kit for my Prelude, engine is completely built, but i talked to some people that said the 18G might be good for about 20-22psi, but would lose efficiancy at around 7000-7500 rpms. who makes a really good, possibly even ball bearing, T4, T3/T4 or equivalent sized turbo with an INTERNAL wastegate, that will bolt up to the GReddy flange? is this a question i need to be asking DSM owners since the turbos are the same?

i dont think you're going to find an internal wg t4.. and if you ever do, there's no way it's gona bolt up to that manifold!

 

i kinda figured that, but i figured i'd ask anyways

 

how about a 20g turbo? pretty sure it will bolt up but not sure about the wastegate...

 

a 20G will bolt up, they are internally wastegated, but you can't actually get a "20G" in a ball bearing, not that i have found yet anyways

 

Correct me if I'm wrong.. but MKIV Supras run T4's, stock... internal gates.

 

just get a TDH05 20g you dont need ball bearing it only helps spool 200-500rpms sooner
