does skunk 2 make a cam for the b18b1 or can i use the vtec cams? im kinda lost with this

 

skunk2 does not make non-vtec cams

and no, you cant use vtec cams in a non-vtec head

 

okay thanks just wanted to answer some of my own questions lol

 

If your looking for a good cam depending on the setup you can run crower 404's or turbo cams or crane turbo cams or JG engine dynamics 303's are my favorite of the bunch. Or have a custom regrind of your cams

 

why is it i feel like every honda parts website rules out the non vtec motors.. vtec isn't the only way to make power. ive seen plenty of boosted ls cars rape gsrs.. i mean a turbo is a bit of money but is it just me or do you b18b1 guys feel like youre singled out at times...? lol

 

There is a huge thred for the b18 non-vtecs on here and everyone tends to stick to that thred. Yes most peopel hate on non-vtec. fact of the matter is the poor rocker design makes for terrible rpm improvements and the poor head flow doesnt allow for as much hp per psi boost.

that doesnt mean you cant make the power its just going to take alot more boost to do it. I'm a fan os nono-vtec but i do run a vtec engine. Ive had plenty of turbo ls motors and they all made nice power

 

delta web colt they all offer cams for the b18a/b engine. I have the delta 272/260 combo works well.
