It's a K-swap. Not going to bring as much as one that was original.

On consignment. Does that mean an employee gets to drive and beat the **** out of it until it's sold? ha!

Def. is not a bad price, considering I've seen a couple of Eg's with k series swapped motors going for about 10 grand.
Just my opinion.

So is this where the previous owner sold it? I remember it was privately owned before.

Seems legit but the description says 5 speed? What K is in there? K20a3?

I hope that's a typo. No one in there right mind should swap a K20a3 into an ITR.

It's legitimate: http://houston-imports.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=616200

Car is in LA. Link above has a better descpription on what's done to it, and it's a K20z1 swap. Wish I had the cash.

Might be a race car?

Could be the 5 speed is better for tracks than a 6 speed?

(I honestly don't know?)

thats a legit car, seen it in person... built by a guy in the baton rouge area... its been supercharged (i believe) and turbo'd with a full-race kit before. guy does not bullshit with any of his cars and uses only top notch parts... crackhead price if you ask me, someone is getting a steal, especially since unlike 99% of the k-swaps out there.. this one has a/c. here's his fs thread on a local baton rouge forum for more pics...

I would think so, too. Less weight. And 6th gear is only really overdrive anyway.

But I think the trans in that R has a 6 speed.

Either JDM or 97spec (amber corners look better anyway).
