ok i serched the wonderful world wide web looking for a solution.
first off the car is a lsvtec built with ctr pistons, cometic .40 head gasket, arp head studs and rod bolts Rods were resized, polished crank, align honed, king berrings, b16a head and cams exhaust gear retarted 2 degrees. tuned on hondata s200

ok this car has ben beaten to death for 4 years and saw the 8500rpm redline daily oil changed regularly every 3k.

well the car makes this knocking noise so we decided to change the rod berrings out for new ones and when we pulled everything apart the berings looked fine other then some pitting and shiny spots so we replaced them with new ones anyway put the oil pan on and put oil and new filter fired it up ran fine oil pressure good let it heat up to operating temp car was quiet at idle super quiet. took it for a ride then when we went to do a wot pull if u press the gas a lil more then half way u hear this knocking noise not detonation knock but like a valve or somthing hitting somwhere didnt rev it to the redline cuz didnt wanna risk it. it only makes the noise when u floor it in any gear dont matter but if ur just cruzing about quiet as can be. please if sombody who has ran into this issue please help us out.

 

You're sure you know what knock sounds like?
If its only load based, that would nearly rule out p2v contact.
Sounds to me like the culprit is preignition. Try new bkr7e spark plugs and try rotating the dizzy towards the front of the vehicle. If the problem is alleviated or diminishes, its knock.

 

I though knock sounded like bees in a can but I apear wrong. Well give some fresh gas and new plugs and retard the timing and see what happens. All other suggestions are welcome

 

To me, knock sounds like an angry little man in the block with a hammer.
