Default Reliable shops in Concord/Martinez area?

Are there any reliable shops that can provide reliable service and parts in the Concord/Martinez area that deal primarily with Honda's?

Sooner or later I may want to do a swap and I would rather have a shop take care of it for me.

Also misc parts like sooner or later I'm gonna need to get brake pads and I'd rather buy local than order online. I prefer supporting someone local when buying parts.

twin cam for parts and installs. imports automotive for anything else. ie brake jobs, tune ups, engine builds, swaps, tune...there's better options out there but in concord, those are the only two i can think of...

Hybridworks in Vallejo does all of that. They do custom engine swaps, diagnose, repair and can do preventative maintenance. People from Concord, Antioch, San Francisco, Sacramento, and San Jose come to the shop. Cars get towed to Hybridworks when the other shops can't figure it out. Check them out yourself. They even dyne tune!

**** Twincam. That guy is douche. All he cares about is his opinion. Twincam was the **** when Dave Chan worked there but the guy there now is no help at all. Imports Automotive is not much better. They dont really know that much.

Hybridworks in Vallejo is the best place around Concord/Martinez area. Anthony is helpful and can answer just about any question. Go to Hybridworks

haha totally true! well i haven't been to twin cam in hella long so i wouldn't know how this "new guy" is. whats his name btw? i heard a rumor that its an old friend but i'm not sure... but my cuz'n is good friends with dude from imports auto and id never go there either..dude just hires a bunch of ******'s and "teaches" them the ropes, then he just does the tunning....

hyrbidworks really is a good place, anthony is really friendly and very helpful, he was able to get my stock r to a respectable 180/129...i was just saying those two shops bcuz apparently op wants to stay in the concord area, but like i stated earlier there are allot of better options out there...

The owner of Twincam is named Ed. He used to work there before Dave. And you're 100% right about Imports Auto and they actually dont have a dyno anymore.

Hybridworks is worth the drive.

Well I'll check out Hybridworks. I have no problem driving far for service. I'm quite used to it since I usually end up taking my other car to the Hayward and Fremont area for parts, tuning, and alignments. It's just gets kinda annoying. But anyways yeah I'll check them out.

Twincam has a new owner, he's been there for about 2 months now. Cool guy IMO.

Actually Ed is the original owner of Twincam and took it back over when Dave left.

If you go to Import Auto I feel bad for you and god help you. Total hack jobs there.
I have personally seen 4 cars with my own eyes come out of there a steaming mess.
