Default Oil Cooler?

Decided on gettin an oil cooler for my d16 turbo..

i want something good. anyone have suggestions so far i have only been considering the mfactory or stillen unit. There both kinda pricey but i want something good. i heard some bad reviews for mishimoto. I am really suprised there are not many options other then the ebay crap. (

anyone know of a good kit?

If you don't mind "piecing together" all the different parts required to make a "kit" work properly, then there are infinite possibilities and may work out less expensive, but will require research and due diligence.

However, if you require a kit that is "good to go", the MFactory kit will offer you that.

Actually, we can include the non-relocation adaptor with the kit as well (customer must request this when ordering), so you have two plumbing choices available.

LOL. The first link... one person says it is junk. That's it.

The second link... do you not know that 350Z's run retarded amounts of oil PSI (thus making the VQ motors burn oil quicker), and they are mainly bitching about added noise from oil going through the system.

I have been using my kit for over one year and no problems. Also, I just heard something about new and improved lines as well as a larger oil cooler option.

lines look pretty good from pics i have seen. just cheked there site and actually they did come out with another option 19 row kinda pricey tho $450. at this point its between that and the cxracing one. the cxracing is roughly the same price as the 10 row and that has a 16 row cooler. i had really good luck with my cxracing radiator so its a tossup between the two...thanks for the input tho that helps alot!

bump.

anyone tried the cxracing unit?

the lines look better then the mishimoto 10 core kit. i may upgrade later with a setrab cooler so lines and adapter plate are most important issues for me.

Look up reviews on the companies. ^^There is one right there. Anyone have similar experiences with CXracing?

I am sure vendors have better pricing than MSRP, which is usually the case. Have you asked around for pricing, maybe asked Mishimoto for a sponsorship? I see they have a lot of vehicles under their sponsored rides section. They even have a link specifically for people who would like to be sponsored embedded within their contact us page.
