Ok so you read the title. I have a 98 civic hatch, with ex vtec motor. A few weeks ago I fired it up and it ran for a while. It ran fine. Now this car isn't driven a lot. It had been sitting with me starting it and moving it from time to time, say every week.

Here is what it is doing now: I turn the ignition to acc and fuel pump comes on, cel comes on and then back off. I go to start it and I hear the motor turning but no spark, I have changed the plugs and wires recently, fuel injector cleaner, and has new fuel. I have measured the voltage at the black and yellow wire at distributor and get 12.58 volts. Battery is new, new head gasket as of a year ago, new timing belt the same day, new plugs gapped and checked, recent wires, I checked the fuel filter up front, and fpr all have fuel pressure.

Any suggestions, I have taken the distributor apart and it looks great, no burns. It started this the next week after the last start.

I took a look and I have no spark at plugs so now checking the cap and icm tomorrow.
