98 civic ex wont start?
Im new to the honda world and i just bought a 98 civic ex two days ago it seemed to run good when i got it and it ran fine yesterday but it seemed like it was missing some in the lower rpms so i went outside this morning and took the spark plugs out and looked at them they seem a little worn but when i put them back in the car just cranks and wont start the wires are back in the correct order and none look broken can anyone help me figure out whats going on? thanks

Also check for spark. If you crank the engine with any spark plug wire disconnected, you always run the risk of blowing the coil inside the distributor.

well i got some to turn the car over for me and it has no spark at all it has fuel though i can smell it in the cylinders after cranking it how do check to see if the coil inside the distributor is blown?

thank you very much i tested it and had another dizzy laying around so i put it on and it started right up...before it had a miss and it is still there it is pretty noticable at idle and under acceleration could this be the timing? when i put the distributer in earlier i also installed all new spark plugs so i wasnt sure if they timing could cause it to do this or not thanks alot though you guys have been a ton of help so far!
