Default bad hesitation probelms with my b16a...HeLp!

Okie i've change a couple of things so far but the hesitation is still there.

Distributor.
throttle body including sensor.
fuel injectors.

hesitation starts when the motor is warmed up but when it's cold it runs perfect!
It struggles on the freeway barly hitting 60mph in 5th gear so i gottah down shift to 4th gear to bring it up. Sometimes it goes away for a second and then comes back.
The weird thing is that it doesn't throw any codes and also no check engine light!
Please help out anyone?

1. Check your cat coverter/ and o2 sensor
2. check your fuel filter
3 Check your coil (Why the hell do people forget these go out? )
4. intectors cloged?

IF youre running two o2 sensors then you probably need to switch them both. I had the same problem when i did a b16 swap a while ago. If not that then check your ignitor, and timing.

peace,

ok, im pretty pissed off.... tried taking pin 8 out in 3 minutes.... pin 16 took 2 hours and it still won't come off... am i doing something wrong? can anyone help with this issue? tried everything.... broke about 10 to 15 pins, auto pics did not work... the pin just did not want to come off... not even sure how the pin 8 came out.

need assistance quick... may go back downstairs for another round but would like to see if there was a special way of inserting the needles, pins or pics..

i thought you guys were full of crap about the 5 to 10 minutes... i thought it would take no more than 30 minutes though...

any assistance appreciated.

You just stick the pin in the hole, lever up the little clip that's holding the ECU pin in place, and pull the pin straight out. They take me like 5 seconds to unclip now (but that's since I got practice, LOL). Don't worry, they're hard to figure out right off the bat but you'll get it

Thanks Raene, what kind of pins did you use? Tried everything, they either snapped or were too big. Any suggestions on what i should use that wont break the pins or damage the molex?

Make sure you have some left over or extra pins.(Any old honda harness will work)It takes time.Even if you can't get the pin off perfectly don't worry just make sure you don't break the plastic harness on your car. After you remove it replace it with a perfect pin that you took off earlier off the spare one.Keep removing pins out your spare one and your get the hang of it.Moms small sewing pin works perfectly.Just don't put any bent ones back in so she won't bitch at ya. Happy Turkey day.
