I think this is an easy one? But the DIYs on this topic aren't clear.

When I reconnect my LCA to my lower ball joint, do I need to "pop" something back IN, like I popped it out? Or will tightening the castle nut to torque spec be adequate to get the ball joint to be seated properly again?

This question probably stems from a misunderstanding of how LBJs are designed/function. Anyway, an answer from the hive here would help move my project forward.

Just tighten the nut, it forces the taper together.
