As the title says....its been a little bit past the oil change since I've completed my mini-me swap. Still havent hooked up v-tec and missing my #1 o2 sensor. The car started overheating as the temperature changed in the east. Everything brand new on the rebuild except the head ( obviously). No visable leaks, fan infront of the radiator is on, fan infront of condensor is not on ( all are with engine running), once I turn the heat on full blast it goes down to below half way. If I turn the heat off...it goes back up. There is coolant in my resrvior tank and its still green. There is no smoke of any kind. Any help? This is my d/d so i dont have time to take everything apart.
I also found a similar thread but some things didnt match up. or the op didnt mention.

No I have not...will look into that when I get home. Luckily I live on an incline hill so maybe that will help. I was thinking it may have had something to do with air/or lack of flow because the fact that when I turn up the heat the temp goes down. Well thanks for the advice. I will try that when I get home and update.

Update:
So i topped off coolant while it was cold and it took about 1/8 of the bottle of coolant which wasnt alot. I drove it for about a total of 45 miles and no overheating. Me n my girl decided to go to walmart and while on the way i turned the a/c on....for like the first time ever...lol, and the upper coolant hose burst ( or made sprung a leak the size of a small slit or knife mark). Now its replaced and running fine but im kinda scared to turn the a/c on! lol

im gunna have to put my money on thermostat with this one.. i could be wrong, but if your thermostat isnt opening right, it could create enough pressure to burst one of your hoses..
once again, i could be completely wrong

I thought the same thing but the hose that burst was the upper...not the lower. If all that pressure caused anything I think it wouldve started with the radiator or the lower hose. But car is running fine now.
