the engine code says B18A and has a 1st gen ZC looking head and its carburated, but the guy says it had a 89 Si tranny on it?????? is there such thing as a D18? and there is no number after the A. so uhhhhm, what the fuc is this

 

the b18a is the 1st generation LS engine isnt it??

 

Ya, I wanted to post that but I didnt want to sound dumb... its definatley JDM if it doesn't have a number after it... so we have that part covered... My best guess is that someone made it into a race motor and just threw some carbs on it, and you just got it that way...

 

A lot of jdm motors remained carbed long after they went fi in the states. do the carbs have a brand like weber mikuni or keihn. I doubt it has a si trans on it if its a b18.
